Leadership Team & Youth Development Coordinator
Tuhia ki te rangi
Tuhia ki te whenua
Tuhia ki te ngākau o ngā tāngata katoa
Ko te mea nui
Ko te aroha
Tihei mauri ora!
Kia ora e te whānau. I’m Allie Miles, born in Te Awakairangi in 1996 and have always proudly called it home. I’m the daughter of a strong first generation New Zealander & carry whānau whakapapa to Scotland & Ireland.
I have a background in Communications and was involved in youth development programmes for three years before joining the Ignite Sport team in January 2018. I love journeying with young people and hearing their stories. I strongly believe in the power of awhi, connection and belonging. One of the most treasured parts of my mahi is witnessing young people beginning to believe in themselves, and then growing in confidence to accomplish things they previously thought were impossible.
The largest aspects of my role with Ignite Sport are coordinating the Oho Ake programme at Naenae College & driving our online communications. If you would like to connect, hear more about my mahi or ask questions, please get in touch.
Ngā mihi nui
Help Allie make a difference...
At Ignite Sport we rely on the generosity of others to help financially support our staff to do the work they do.
If you would like to specifically support Allie please set up an automatic payment online with your bank to Ignite Sport account number 12-3142-0276022-01. Please be sure to use "Allie" as particulars and your name as the reference.
Please remember to then email us your name, address, the amount of support, and frequency so we can ensure you receive a tax receipt in April, and to say thanks!
One-off donations also most welcome to the same account number if you prefer.
