Leadership Team & Youth Development Coordinator
Matt has worked at Ignite Sport as a Youth Development Coordinator since 2014. He currently coordinates the youth development programmes at Naenae College, Heretaunga College and Hutt Valley High School.
Matt loves sport, coaching and making a difference in young people’s lives. He has always wanted to be a positive influence in his local community, making his role at Ignite Sport a dream. He is currently coaching football and basketball.
Matt has a Diploma in Exercise Science and Recreation and played a season of Cricket in the UK, playing for Falmouth, Cornwall.
Matt married his wife Laura in 2017. He is a fan of the Sacramento Kings and Newcastle United and loves playing all sports such as Football, Basketball and Touch.
