A great way to finish a hard year was jumping into 2 vans and heading off to Pohangina camp site to share a sports retreat experience with 14 keen Pasifika students from St Bernard's College. Naturally the students displayed their brotherhood and commitment to each other throughout all the challenges and activities.
Some highlights of the 3 days away were the manus off the platform, the drama from the card game Mafia and the tradition of sitting down to eat together as our Pasifika families do.
We are proud of how our boys have finished this year. They have shown true resilience to complete 2020 at their best. I know in some way this experience has become a part of us all.
