Dan joined the Ignite Sport Board in 2025 after being impacted by the work of Ignite for many years, through connections at Petone Baptist Church and his own young people being part of Ignite's programmes. He is deeply connected with Ignite's purpose and mahi that make lasting difference in the rangitahi and communities of Wellington region.
Dan brings governance and leadership experience from the engineering sector in his day job and trail building in his spare time. He is married to Kelly and has three sports-mad teenage children. Dan loves being part of Ignite's programmes to get to know the awesome young people and see the Ignite team in action.
